Beer & Health at the 11th European Conference on Nutrition on 28th October 2011 in Madrid!

The 11th European Conference on Nutrition will take place on the 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th October in Madrid, at the Madrid Convention Centre. The European Nutrition Conference is a meeting which is organized every four year by the Federation of European Nutrition Societies. The event will welcome 2000 experts and host about 200 lectures. This year’s conference focus has been placed on achieving free access to healthy diets and, above all, to appropriate education on nutrition.
 
A special Symposium, supported by “Beer & Health”, will be hold on Friday, the 28th October 2011, from 5.30 to 7.30 pm, in Room 8, about how moderate consumption of beer may contribute to a healthy diet. This Symposium, entitled “Beer: Cheers to your health!”, will be chaired by Dr. Ramon Estruch, from the Department of Internal Medicine at the Clinic Hospital, University of Barcelona.
